ELON, N.C. – The Elon University women's tennis team wrapped up day two of the Elon Fall Invitational today, Sept. 13, at the Jimmy Powell Tennis Center. Several Phoenix players had outstanding performances, as five out of six players won their matches on the day.
 
Olivia Lucas advanced to the A-3 Singles Flight championship match on Sunday after grinding out a three-set win against Wake Forest's Sara Swift, 2-6, 6-3, 10-3.
 
Along with partner Taylor Casey, Lucas will play in the B-1 Doubles Flight championship on Sunday. The tandem defeated East Tennessee State's Viccars and Brumit, 8-4, to advance.
 
Sunday's matches begin at 9 a.m. at the Jimmy Powell Tennis Center.
