ELON, N.C. – The Elon University women's tennis team heads to Charlotte, N.C., this Friday, April 3, to face the Charlotte 49ers (9-8). The match is scheduled to start at 12 p.m.
 
LOOKING BACK: Elon came back from a tournament in Hilton Head where they swept the competition, defeating North Central College (7-0), Savannah State (6-1) and Wisconsin-Eau Claire (7-0). Following the wins, the Phoenix is currently riding a seven-match winning streak, also winning 11 of its last 12 matches, sitting with a 12-5 record.  
 
GIVING BACK: The Phoenix finished up hosting a clinic for the youth of Alamance County this past Thursday, March 26, at the Burlington Tennis Center. The event saw about 75 participants from ages 6-13, running drills and teaching them skills of the game.
 
LOOKING FORWARD: This match against the 49ers mark its last regular season away match. They look ahead to a three-match home stretch starting Tuesday, April 7, at 2:30 p.m. against Davidson (10-6).
