FINAL RESULTS
CHAPEL HILL, N.C. – Elon University women's tennis wrapped up the fall portion of its schedule at the Kitty Harrison Invitational, Nov. 3-5, at the Cone-Kenfield Tennis Center at the University of North Carolina.

Maria Paraja was the highlight for Elon finishing a perfect 3-0 in singles action and posted a 2-1 mark in doubles play over three days. The Phoenix also finished 2-1 in doubles action against Penn State and earned three singles victories against Maryland.

HIGHLIGHTS
Paraja posted a perfect score in singles, highlighted by a 6-4, 6-7, 1-0 (10-4) victory over Stretton of Maryland and another victory Kulkarni of the Terps 6-2, 5-7, 13-11. She earned her third win in a 7-5, 6-2 defeat of Smith of Charlotte.

Paraja partnered with Suzanne Zenoni in doubles action. The tournament began with an 8-6 victory over Charlotte's Martin and Cowper. The duo followed with an impressive 8-5 win over Svarre and Wikberg of Penn State in their second doubles match. Paraja and Zenoni's lone blemish came in an 8-7 loss to Feaster and Armas of Davidson.

The rest of the Phoenix also posted some good performances during the tournament.
Olivia Lucas played tough competition throughout the tournament and picked up a big win 7-5, 2-6, 10-2 against Lee of Charlotte.
Erica Braschi went 2-1 in singles action, which included a 7-6 (4), 6-2 win against Sullivan of Maryland. Alex Koniaev posted a perfect 3-0 mark with wins against Maryland, East Carolina and Charlotte in singles.

Also in doubles action, Montana Moore and Braschi additionally went 2-1 in doubles play during the tournament with wins against Penn State and Charlotte.
Additionally, Mia Wallace and Sofia Edo each finished 2-0 in singles action. Wallace earned a 6-4, 6-3, victory over Davidson's Sexton and a 6-0, 6-1 defeat of Dixon of East Carolina. Edo earned a 6-1, 6-1 win against Anthony of East Carolina and posted a 2-6, 6-4, 10-8 win against Hahn of Davidson.
