- Senior guard Marcus Sheffield earned a CAA Player of the Week Honorable Mention after leading the team in scoring (23.0 ppg) during a 1-1 week for Elon. Sheffield scored a season-high 31 points while grabbing nine rebounds in a 82-73 Phoenix win over JMU.

Zac Ervin earned the CAA Rookie of the Week award after leading the team in scoring (18 ppg) during a 1-1 week for Elon. Ervin scored a career-high 27 points on 9-of-14 shooting from the field, including a career-best 7-of-12 from beyond the arc in the Phoneix's 80-63 win over UNCW.
- Freshman guard
Hunter McIntosh garnered CAA Rookie of the Week honors, the league announced on Dec. 16. McIntosh was selected by the conference after scoring a team-high 15 points, while adding three assists, two rebounds and two steals in Elon's dominant 91-60 win over North Carolina Wesleyan.
- Freshman forward
Hunter Woods was named the CAA Rookie of the Week on Dec. 9. Woods earned the honor after averaging 16.5 points and 6.5 rebounds in games against Kennesaw State and High Point.
- This marks the first time that the CAA has had three different freshmen from the same team each win a Rookie of the Week Award in the same season since Charleston in 2015-16, and seventh overall since the conference began announcing the award in 2002-03.
- Woods and McIntosh became the first pair of Elon freshman to win the conference Rookie of the Week award in back-to-back weeks.
- Marcus Sheffield has now scored in double figures in 12 straight games and 20 timed overall this season.

- The Huskies are off to an 11-11 start this season, after falling to William & Mary, 59-58, in their most recent outing
- Northeastern is in its 14th season under head coach Bill Coen, who took home the CAA Coach of the Year Award in 2018.
- The Huskies are led by Jordan Rowland, who leads the team in scoring at 23.2 ppg. Bolden Brace is the team's top rebounder at 6.2 rpg, while adding 10.3 ppg as well.
