ELON, N.C. – Elon University men's basketball hits the road this weekend for matchups with Charleston on Saturday, Feb. 13, and Sunday, Feb. 14. Tipoff in both contests is slated for 1 p.m.

Darius Burford combined for 22 points, five rebounds and three assists in the loss.
- Elon rounded out non-conference play with a 3-1 overall record but is still seeking its first win in CAA play.
- Following its win against Campbell, the Phoenix earned its first 3-0 start to a season in Division I program history.
- Elon's win over N.C. Wesleyan made Schrage the first Elon coach since Bob Burton in 1987-88 to win his first two season openers.
SCOUTING CHARLESTON
- Earl Grant is in the midst of his sixth season at the helm of the Charleston program after spending four years as an assistant coach at Clemson.
- Charleston is off to a 7-8 start to the season after defeating Towson in its most recent outing.
- The Cougars are led by Brevin Galloway, who currently averages 15.0 ppg and 3.0 rpg. Charleston has also gotten major contributions from Payton Willis who is posting 13.5 ppg and 3.1 apg this season.
