-Elon is currently 5-0 (1-0 CAA) on the season, ranking #23 in the latest Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) Coaches poll.
-The maroon and gold registered its fifth win of the season on Saturday, March 20 when it posted a 13-9 win over Furman.
-Mae McGlynn paced Elon in scoring, totaling four goals on the day, while Sara Bouwman and Cate Mackel followed with hat tricks. 
-Quinn Daly led the Phoenix in the draw circle with six draw controls for a new career high. Daly also posted a game-best two caused turnovers in addition to tying Meredith Curtin for the team high in ground balls (4). For her performance against the Paladins, Daly was named the Colonial Athletic Association Women's Lacrosse Defensive Player of the Week.
-Elon is led by eighth-year head coach Josh Hexter.
 
SCOUTING LONGWOOD
-The Lancers enter the game with a 1-7 record, with their lone win coming against Delaware State on March 18 (16-4).
-Longwood came up short in its last game against American University on March 24, 20-12.
-The head coach of the Lancers is Elaine Jones.
