ELON, N.C. – The Elon University men's tennis team will host Coastal Carolina at Jimmy Powell Tennis Center on Tuesday, March 23. The match is scheduled to begin at 2:30 p.m.

THE SERIES
-Elon leads the overall series 7-1.
-The Phoenix won their last matchup against the Chanticleers 4-0 on March 18, 2019.
 
ABOUT THE PHOENIX
-Elon comes into the match with a 10-3 record, including an undefeated record at home (8-0). 
-The Phoenix came up short in its last match against VCU on March 27, 4-1.
-Kyle Frankel and Camilo Ponce clinched the doubles point with a 6-3 victory over Charles Bertimon and Quentin Coulaud in No. 2 doubles. The duo has now won three matches in a row (3-0).  
-Jacob Bicknell and Nicholas Condos' win in No. 3 doubles marks the first in that spot for the team since March 7 when Ponce and Nicholas Campbell recorded a 6-2 victory over William & Mary's Daniel Pellerito and Finbar Talcott.
-In No. 1 singles, Frankel was up 4-2 in the third set against Charles Bertimon. However, the match was eventually called.  
-The Phoenix is led by 17^th year head coach Michael Leonard.
 
SCOUTING COASTAL CAROLINA
-The Chanticleers enter the match with a 4-3 record on the season.
-Coastal Carolina lost their last match against Georgia State on March 23, 6-1.
-The head coach for the Chanticleers is Chris Powers.
