ELON, N.C. – Elon University women's tennis returns to action tomorrow, March 31, when it hosts Methodist at 2:30 p.m. at Piedmont Indoor Courts in Greensboro, N.C.

THE SERIES
- Elon and Methodist will meet for the third time in program history on Wednesday, with Elon leading the all-time series 2-0.
- The Phoenix defeated the Monarchs, 6-0, in their most recent meeting on Feb. 8, 2020. Â Â

- Elon is off to an 11-4 start to the season after falling to James Madison, 6-1, in its most recent outing.
- The Phoenix is currently 7-2 in matches played at the Jimmy Powell Tennis Center this season and 4-1 in road contests.

Lizette Reding has started the season off hot, going 12-2 through the first 14 singles matches of her career. Reding also holds an 9-1 record in No. 3 singles so far this season.

- Toni Laney is leading the way for Methodist, posting a 5-2 record in singles play. Laney also leads the team with a 5-3 mark in doubles play so far this season.
