Abby Fusca scored the only goal of the game in the 33rd minute on her first and only shot on goal to give Elon the lead and eventually the win.
Jessica Carrieri was given the assist.
-The Phoenix have now held two Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) opponents to no shots on goal, James Madison and Charleston. Â

-William & Mary tied James Madison in its last match, 2-2. The Tribe had a 2-0 lead, but the Dukes found the back of the net twice in the final eight minutes of regulation to force overtime.
