ELON, N.C.- The Elon University women's lacrosse program announced its 16-game schedule for the 2022 season on Tuesday, Jan 25.
 
"We are really excited about our schedule this season and look forward to competing again with many of the best teams in the country," said head coach Josh Hexter. 
 
The Phoenix open the season with five home games, three of which are against teams who ranked in the top 25 last season. The Phoenix will host Virginia, Duke, Vanderbilt, Coastal Carolina, High Point and Winthrop at Rudd Field during nonconference play. Elon will also make trips to Furman, VCU and Virginia Tech.
 
The Phoenix has a full conference slate this year. The maroon and gold will open Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) play with a home matchup against William & Mary on March 30. The maroon and gold will also square off against Delaware and Drexel at Rudd Field. Elon will travel to its remaining conference games against Towson, James Madison and Hofstra.
