ELON, N.C. – The Elon University softball team's Sunday game versus Appalachian State in the finale of the Elon Softball Classic has been canceled due to inclement weather. The Phoenix will conclude the tournament with a perfect 3-0 record over its opening weekend.
 
Elon will return to action this Wednesday, Feb. 16, hosting intrastate foe North Carolina at Hunt Softball Park. That game is scheduled for a 4 p.m. start.
