RALEIGH – The Elon University women's track and field team concluded its competition at the Raleigh Relays on Saturday, March 26, at the Paul Derr Track & Field facility on the campus of NC State.
Kaitlin McGoogan earned a top-10 finish in the women's hammer throw with a mark of 57.19m.
Lauryn Carlton posted a new personal-best throw of 51.73m in the event and was 29
th overall.
Meghan Wilcox led the Phoenix in the 200-meters with a time of 24.76 and was 23
rd overall. The Sugar Land, Texas, native breaks into the program's top-10 performance list.
In the 800-meters,
Anna Twomey led the Phoenix with her time of 2:13.07 while senior
Stephanie Lair was next at 2:13.24.
Riley Drometer paced the Phoenix in the 400-meter hurdles with a time of 1:04.05 while teammate
Tessa DiPierdomenico was next at her time of 1:04.12.
