ELON, N.C. – Elon University women's tennis continues its spring season this weekend when it travels to Davidson and Raleigh, N.C. for contests against Davidson and NC State.

The Phoenix will open the weekend with a 1 p.m. matchup with Davidson on Saturday, March 5, before returning to action the next day, March 6, for a bout against NC State at 5 p.m.

- Davidson is led by Susanne Depka who is in her fifth season at the helm of the Wildcats program. Depka has been with program since 2014 as an assistant coach and is a former professional player for the WTA tour.
- The Wildcats are led by Kavya Patel who holds a 7-1 record in singles play so far this season. Patel is currently on a team-best seven match winning streak.
- Mira Gladston and Elizabeth Truluck are leading the way for Davidson in doubles play, as the duo sits at 5-2 early on this season.

- NC State enters the contest with a 12-1 overall record after defeating #54 Florida State, 6-1, in its most recent outing.
- The Wolfpack is led by Simon Earnshaw, who is in his eighth season at the helm of the program. Earnshaw led NC State to the 2021 Final Four.
- In singles play, Priska Nugroho is leading the way for NC State with an 8-2 mark early this season.
- In doubles, Jaeda Daniel and Nell Miller hold the top mark as the duo is undefeated at 9-0.
