RICHMOND, VA. – The Colonial Athletic Association announced that Elon University women's tennis had three student-athletes in
Sibel Tanik,
Lizette Reding and
Olivia Archer named to All-Conference Teams on Tuesday, May 17.

Tanik led the way for the Phoenix, earning All-CAA First Team honors following a 14-win finish in singles play. In the No. 1 singles position, Tanik rounded out the year with a 14-6 mark, including winning eight out of her last nine matches to end the season. Throughout the year, Tanik posted a 3-1 record against CAA opponents while also picking up key victories over Richmond, Campbell, Norfolk State, UNCG and East Carolina. For her play, Tanik earned all-conference honors for the second consecutive year after being named First Team All-CAA for singles in her first season at Elon in 2021.

Reding picked up All-CAA Second Team honors after finishing fourth on the team in singles wins (11). Competing primarily in the No. 2 position, Reding piled up an 8-5 mark while also ending the season a perfect 2-0 in No. 1 singles. During the regular season, Reding posted key wins against Richmond, North Carolina A&T, Davidson, North Carolina Central, Norfolk State, UNCW, UNCG and William & Mary. For her efforts, Reding earned CAA Yearly Honors for the second year in a row after being named the conference Rookie of the Year, Second Team All-CAA (S) and Third Team All-CAA (D) in 2021.

Archer rounded out the individual honors for the Phoenix with her selection to the All-CAA Third Team. After finishing the year leading the team in singles wins (19), Archer picked up the second All-CAA postseason honor of her career after being named All-CAA Second Team (S) in 2019. The senior finished the year with a 9-0 mark in No. 4 singles and a team-high 13 doubles victories. This season, Archer posted a 4-1 mark against CAA opponents while also earning key wins for the Phoenix against Richmond, Gardner-Webb, North Carolina A&T, Davidson, North Carolina Central, UNCG and East Carolina. Archer won each of her six four matches and eight of her final nine contests overall to end the year.

Tanik and Reding earned the final postseason honor for Elon, picking up an All-CAA Second Team Doubles selection. The tandem finished the year with a 12-8 record in the No. 1 slot and in doubles play overall. This season, Tanik and Reding led the charge for the Phoenix in doubles play, earning wins over Campbell, Gardner-Webb, North Carolina Central, UNCW, James Madison and UNCG. The duo ended the year with wins in five of its final seven finished matches overall.
