ELON, N.C. — Julie Ball, Helen Sarikulaya and Miray Konar each continued their undefeated runs through their respective singles flights as the Elon women's tennis team continued play in the Elon Fall Invitational on Saturday at the Jimmy Powell Tennis Center.
 
Ball made quick work of her opponent, dispatching James Madison's Hope Moulin, 6-2, 6-1, to advance to the finals of the Phoenix East flight. In the Parham East flight, Sarikulaya defeated ETSU's Mariya Shumeika, 6-3, 6-3, to reach the finals. Konar's match proved to be the most contested of the three, as she outlasted Richmond's Claire Le Du, 6-0, 6-7 (7), 6-2, to earn a spot in the finals of the Owens East flight. All three will attempt to win their flights Sunday.
 
Lizette Reding and Olivia Archer also secured singles wins, with the former beating UNCG's Arina Babkova, 6-3, 6-3, and the latter upending North Carolina A&T's Cielo Tapia-Cruz, 6-2, 6-2. Reding will play in the Gold West final and Archer in the Powell West final on Sunday.
 
Archer and Ball picked up Elon's lone doubles win Saturday, defeating Emory's Eliza McPherron and Emily Kantrovitz, 8-4.
 
Sunday's singles matches will begin at 9 a.m.
