Winston-Salem, N.C. – Freshman
Reese Webster broke the school record in the 60, highlighting a strong day for the Elon University indoor track & field team. Competing at the JDL DMR Invitational, Elon won five events and set numerous personal bests in the team's final meet before heading to the first ever CAA Indoor Track & Field Championships.
WEBSTER SETS A NEW STANDARD
- Reese Webster finished first in the preliminary round of the 60 with a time of 7.66 seconds. She followed that up with a school record time of 7.60 seconds in the finals to take first place.
- Webster's time just barely nudged the 7.61 that teammate Meghan Wilcox ran earlier this year to set the school record.
