Raleigh, N.C. –
Reese Webster had to wait an extra week, but the true freshman from San Juan, Trinidad & Tobago broke the school record in the 100 Friday at the Raleigh Relays, hosted by NC State. In total, Elon saw six student-athletes break into top 10 lists during the day.

Webster ran a wind-aided time of 11.83 seconds in the 100 a week ago, a time that would have broken Elon's school record of 11.85 if not for the wind reading. There was no asterisk Friday as she ran a wind-legal 11.82 to etch her name at the top of Elon's leaderboard.
