Linn Hertz Saebboe recorded the third-best long jump performance in Elon University outdoor track & field history Friday as the team competed at the VertKlasse Meeting, hosted by High Point University.
NOTABLE PERFORMANCES
- Linn Hertz Saebboe placed eighth in the long jump with a distance of 18-feet-11.75 (5.78m). It was her outdoor personal best and places her third in school history in the event.
- Also in the long jump, Alexa Mark set a new season-best with a distance of 18-1.75 (5.53m).
- Lizzie Lopez recorded an outdoor personal best in high jump as she cleared 5-3 (1.60m) and placed second in the B section of the event.
- Grace Dieleman placed sixth in the javelin at 129-11 (39.61m)
- Madison George finished seventh in the B section of the pole vault, clearing a height of 11-10.5 (3.62m).
- Arianna Sakoutis led four Elon runners in the 1500 with a time of 4:53.04. Sydney Swan followed in a personal-best time of 4:54.49.
