Charlotte, N.C. – The Elon University track & field team set a handful of personal bests on the final day of the Charlotte Invitational Saturday. The meet was the final competition for Elon before the CAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships.
 
TOP PERFORMANCES

• Three runners set new personal bests in the 800 Saturday. Jasmine Young finished third overall with a PR time of 2:19.02. Ashley Irby (2:20.57) and Julia Bell (2:27.92) added personal best times as well.
• In the 1500, Sarah Petitjean placed fourth overall with a PR time of 4:44.03.

 
UP NEXT

• Elon will travel to Williamsburg, Va. for the CAA Outdoor Track & Field Championship Friday and Saturday, hosted by William & Mary. Elon is the two-time defending champions and won the inaugural CAA Indoor Track & Field Championship earlier this year.
