ELON, N.C. – The Elon University women's tennis team announced its 2023 fall schedule on Monday, highlighted by two events at the Jimmy Powell Tennis Center.

Elon will open its fall campaign by hosting the Elon Fall Invitational on Sept. 22-24. After two weeks off, the Phoenix will compete in back-to-back weeks at the Liberty Invitational on Oct. 7-8 in Lynchburg, Va., and ITA Regionals on Oct. 19-22 in Chapel Hill, N.C. Elon will wrap its fall season by hosting its second event, the Jimmy Powell Invitational, on Oct. 27-29. 
 
Entering her 20th season as Elon's head coach, Elizabeth Anderson returns many key contributors from a team that went 16-7 in the spring and made it to the CAA Tournament semifinals. Among those back for the Phoenix are Lizette Reding (All-CAA Second Team in singles and doubles), Sibel Tanik (All-CAA Second Team in doubles and All-CAA Third Team in singles), Madison Cordisco (All-CAA Second Team in doubles), Miray Konar and Helen Sarikulaya. Elon will also welcome three freshmen this fall – Simone Bergeron, Ella Suk and Mariana Reding.
