ELON, N.C. – Veljko Krstic and Juan Sengariz both advanced to singles finals on Saturday at the Elon Invitational as two rounds were completed. Elon is hosting the three-day tournament at the Jimmy Powell Tennis Center. 

FULL SINGLES AND DOUBLES DRAWS (PDF)
 
Krstic won a pair of matches in straight sets to roll into the final of the Maroon Singles draw, the tournament's top singles flight. Krstic is 6-0 in sets this weekend and has not lost more than four games in any set. Sengariz started his day with a three-set victory before winning his next match in straight sets to qualify for the Gold Singles final. Sengariz is 5-0 across singles and doubles this week in his first tournament with the Phoenix. 
 
Oskar Antinheimo and Alonso Roca both picked up their first wins of the fall season, as Antinheimo battled to a three-set win in the back draw for Maroon Singles and Roca picked up a win in the consolation portion of the Phoenix Singles draw. Ben Zipay also added a win in the consolation section of the Gold Singles draw and Jake Pettingell picked up a victory in the back draw of the Powell Singles flight. 
 
The tournament will conclude tomorrow with doubles and singles finals. Doubles is scheduled for an 8:30 a.m. start with singles to follow.
