Greensboro, N.C. – The Elon University track & field team concluded a strong weekend Saturday at the Aggie Classic, hosted by North Carolina A&T. Elon used the meet, combined with Friday's Wake Forest Invitational, to prepare for a grueling conference tournament schedule.
 
TOP PERFORMANCES

• A transfer from DePaul, senior Isabella Hildtich competed in the 100 hurdles for the first time in the maroon and gold. She placed sixth overall with a time of 14.33 seconds, landing her seventh in program history in the event.
• Kaitlin McGoogan won the hammer throw with a mark of 176-feet-3 (53.72m).
• Caroline Niedermeyer set a new personal best in the hammer with a toss of 110-8 (33.75m).
• Lizzie Lopez tied for fourth in the high jump, clearing 5-3 (1.60m).
• Jaqueline Zacharias finished second in javelin with a throw of 117-0 (35.67m).

 
UP NEXT

• Elon will compete at two meets in the next week, beginning with the Penn Relays from Thursday through Saturday. The Phoenix will also be at the Charlotte Invitational Friday and Saturday.
