Greenville, N.C.- Elon baseball (11-20) finishes its four-game road trip with a Tuesday night matchup against the #9 East Carolina Pirates (23-7). First pitch will be at 6 pm.
The Phoenix looks to bounce back after a tough series loss to the Stony Brook Sea Wolves. Earlier this season, the Pirates defeated Elon at Latham Park to ensure a split of the season series.

EAST CAROLINA SERIES HISTORY
- Elon trails the all-time series with East Carolina, 32-58-1.
- This will be the tenth straight season the Phoenix and Pirates have met for a non-conference midweek matchup.
- The Pirates beat Elon earlier this season 10-1 at Latham Park. Vince Fattore provided the lone offensive spark with a solo home run against ECU.
- The series was dormant for 20 years before it was brought back by head coach Mike Kennedy in 1998.
- Elon and ECU met once last season in a result that ended in a 5-1 defeat for the Phoenix.
- The Phoenix last triumphed over the Pirates in 2021. Former Phoenix Spencer Bauer and Brian Edgington combined for nine innings of work against the Pirates including a season-high 14 strikeouts.
