ELON – The Elon lacrosse team announced its 2026 schedule Friday, with the Phoenix slated to play 16 games. Elon will face four ACC opponents in nonconference play and will compete in seven CAA contests.
Elon will travel to Winthrop for an exhibition contest on Jan. 31 before opening the regular season with a pair of road games. The Phoenix kicks off its campaign at VCU on Feb. 7 before a trip to Charlotte on Feb. 11 for a matchup against Queens.
The Phoenix plays at Rudd Field for the first time on Feb. 14, welcoming Old Dominion for its home opener. Elon then returns to the road on Feb. 21 for a clash at East Carolina.
Elon will face its first of four ACC opponents on Feb. 27, travelling to Blacksburg to play at Virginia Tech. The Phoenix is back home for its next two games, with High Point visiting Rudd on March 5 followed by ACC foe Notre Dame on March 8.
The Phoenix begins CAA play on March 14 with a road fixture at Hofstra before its first home conference contest against Monmouth on March 20. Elon will host its second ACC opponent this season on March 23 when Duke comes to Rudd.
A road trip to Philadelphia is next up for the Phoenix, as Elon heads north to face Drexel on March 28. Elon will then celebrate its graduating class on April 4 on Senior Day against William & Mary. The Phoenix then makes a trip to face Campbell on April 10.
Elon plays host to its third ACC team on April 12 with Stanford set for its first match at Rudd since 2018. The Phoenix will close CAA play with games on April 19 at Towson and April 25 against Stony Brook at Rudd.
The top four teams in the regular season CAA standings will qualify for the CAA Tournament, which Stony Brook will host. The semifinals are scheduled for April 30 with the championship game on May 2.
The Phoenix, which is coming off back-to-back CAA semifinal appearances, went 9-8 last season, which included a 5-3 mark in conference play.
