Clark Highlights Elon’s All-CAA Honorees

15 Total Phoenix Receive CAA Football Postseason Recognition

RICHMOND, Va. Elon redshirt freshman quarterback Landen Clark earned Co-Offensive Rookie of the Year honors on Tuesday, headlining a deep list of 15 Phoenix who received 2025 Coastal Athletic Association football postseason accolades. 
 
The 15 Phoenix to receive postseason recognition included three first-team selections, five second-team honorees, three third-team picks and four honorable mentions. The full list of 2025 All-CAA football honorees can be viewed on CAASports.org. 
 
Co-Offensive Rookie of the Year 
Landen Clark – QB 
  • The third Phoenix to earn CAA Rookie of the Year honors, joining Davis Cheek (2017) and Jaylan Thomas (2018) 
  • First Elon freshman to win three CAA Rookie of the Week awards 
  • Broke Elon's single-season FCS rushing touchdown record (11) 
  • Ranked second among CAA quarterbacks with 614 rushing yards 
  • Threw for 2,321 yards, ranking sixth in the CAA and second among CAA freshman quarterbacks 
  • Accounted for 29 total touchdowns (18 passing, 11 rushing), the second most in a season in program history 
  • Ranked fourth in the CAA in total offense (2,935 yards) 
 
First Team All-CAA 
  • 46 receptions for 907 yards and nine touchdowns 
  • Third in the CAA in receiving yards; second in receiving touchdowns 
  • Averaged 19.7 yards per catch, the third-best mark in the conference 
  • Caught a touchdown in five straight CAA games; tied for most receiving touchdowns in league play (7) 
 
Kahmari Brown – DL 
  • First Elon player ever with double-digit sacks in a season (12.0) 
  • Broke Elon's single-season FCS sacks record; tied program's FCS career sacks record (16.5) 
  • Led the CAA in sacks by 2.5; only CAA player with double-digit sacks 
  • Ranked top-15 nationally in forced fumbles, sacks, and tackles for loss 
  • Two-time CAA Defensive Player of the Week selection 
 
Jeff Yurk – P 
  • Ranked second in the FCS and third in all of college football with 48.3 yards per punt 
  • Tallied 17 punts inside the 20 and 24 punts of 50-plus yards 
  • Averaged five yards more per punt than any other CAA punter 
 
Second Team All-CAA 
Dylan Magazu – FB/HB 
  • Hauled in 11 receptions for 168 yards and two touchdowns 
  • Multiple catches in three different games, including three for 61 yards against Duke 
 
Tim Hogan – OL 
  • Started 10 games at right guard 
  • Key member of a unit that produced one of the CAA's top rushing attacks (3rd, 168.3 rushing yards per game) 
 
  • Team leader with 104 tackles, ranking sixth in the CAA 
  • 9.5 tackles for loss; four double-digit tackle games 
  • Forced two fumbles, including one vs. Duke 
 
Ishmel Atkins – CB 
  • Ranked second in the CAA with three interceptions 
  • Nine passes defended in his first season at cornerback 
  • Added two forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries 
 
DJ James Hamilton – S 
  • 80 tackles and five double-digit tackle performances 
  • Two interceptions (including game-sealer vs. Campbell) 
  • Seven pass breakups 
 
Third Team All-CAA 
Luke Barnes – PK 
  • 15-for-18 on field goals; 14-for-15 inside 50 yards 
  • Perfect 40-for-40 on PATs, the most in the CAA without a miss 
  • Second-highest scoring kicker in the CAA (85 points) 
  • 20 touchbacks on 49 kickoffs 
 
  • 84 tackles, including 48 solos 
  • 7.5 tackles for loss and five sacks 
  • Caused three game-changing turnovers, including two game-clinching interceptions 
  • Forced a key fumble in a win against Campbell 
 
  • 82 tackles, two tackles for loss, three games of 10-plus tackles 
  • Forced and recovered a fumble 
  • Two interceptions in CAA play (tied for second in league play) 
 
Honorable Mention All-CAA 
Jimmyll Williams – RB 
  • CAA Co-Offensive Player of the Week vs. Hampton 
  • 673 rushing yards on just 104 carries (6.5 YPC ranked third in the CAA) 
  • Highest YPC among the league's top 10 rushers 
  • Elon went 4-0 in CAA play when he logged 10-plus carries 
 
  • 15.1 yards per return, the fifth best mark in the CAA 
  • Returned a punt for a touchdown vs. Rhode Island (first for Elon in 10-plus years) 
  • Recorded the CAA's third-longest punt return (70 yards) 
 
Jake Louro – DL 
  • Career-best season with seven tackles for loss and three sacks 
  • Started all 12 games at defensive tackle 
 
Jevean Brown – Specialist 
  • Stepped into Elon's starting SPUR role late in the season 
  • Recorded 10 tackles vs. Rhode Island, including two tackles for loss and a sack 
  • Forced a fumble on his sack against the Rams
