Women’s Basketball Heads To Charleston, Hosts North Carolina A&T For Senior Day

ELON, N.C. — The Elon women's basketball team (13-12, 7-7 CAA) hits the road to face Charleston (19-6, 10-4 CAA) on Friday, Feb. 23, before returning home to welcome Triad rival North Carolina A&T (16-9, 12-2 CAA) on Sunday, Mar. 2, at 1 p.m. for Senior Day.

  • Freshman Jayda Angel has earned five CAA Rookie of the Week honors so far in the 2024-25 season.
  • Angel matched her career-high with 20 points against Campbell, leading the team off the bench for the eighth time this season.
  • Angel contributed 10 points and four rebounds in Elon's win at UNCW.
  • Angel led the team in scoring for the seventh time this season, finishing with 14 points, six rebounds, and two steals against the Tribe.
