SOUTHPORT, N.C. – Ashley Lafontaine leads the entire field with a 1-over-par 145 after two rounds of play at the CAA Championship.

Elon improved on its first-round score by 19 strokes, carding a 6-over-par 294 in round two to remain in fifth place. Charleston and UNCW now share the lead with a 36-hole total of 592 (+16).
 
HIGHLIGHTS  

• Ashley Lafontaine leads the individual standings after posting a 1-over-par 73 in the second round, highlighted by a team-high 13 pars. She leads the field in total birdies (10), is tied for the lead in par-3 scoring average (2.63), and leads the team in par-5 scoring average (4.75).
• Emma Hansen remains in the top 10, currently tied for seventh with a 36-hole total of 149 (+5). She improved her score by three strokes in round two, which included three birdies and 10 pars. Hansen leads the team in total pars (20) and ranks second on the team in par-4 scoring average (4.15).
• Kelly Zhao climbed six spots on the leaderboard after firing a 3-over-par 76 in round two, highlighted by four birdies. She is tied for 23rd place.
• Andrea Asmundsdottir is tied for 31st with a 36-hole total of 165 (+21).
• Annie Wu replaced Garland Gould in the lineup and delivered a strong second round, shooting a 1-over-par 73 with four birdies and 10 pars. Wu leads the field in par-4 scoring average (4.00).
• Elon's second-round 294 is its lowest round at the CAA Championship since shooting a 292 in 2023.
