Northborough, Mass. – The Elon University lacrosse team was tabbed as a Division I Academic Honor Squad by the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) on Wednesday, while a program-record 12 Elon lacrosse student-athletes were named to the IWLCA Division I Honor Roll.
A total of 383 schools across all three NCAA divisions and the NAIA were named an IWLCA Academic Honor Squad. To qualify for the prestigious honor, a team must have posted a team GPA of 3.2 or higher for the academic year. This is the third consecutive year and eighth time overall Elon has met the criteria to be a Division I Honor Squad.
To earn individual recognition on the Division I Honor Roll, a student-athlete must be a junior, senior or graduate student and maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher. Elon's 12 selections were the program's most since its first season of competition in 2014, besting the previous high of 10 set in both 2024 and 2017.
