Elon Men’s Soccer Releases 2025 Schedule

ELON, N.C. – The Elon University men's soccer team unveiled its 2025 fall schedule on Tuesday, July 8. The defending CAA regular season champions will play 17 matches, with eight at Rudd Field.

The Phoenix will compete in a trio of exhibitions against VCU (Aug. 9), NC State (Aug. 12) and Queens (Aug. 16) before opening the regular season at UAB on Aug. 21. Elon returns to Rudd for its home opener against Old Dominion on Aug. 25.

Elon will then hit the road for its first CAA match of the season on Aug. 30 against UNCW. Following a trip to Radford on Sept. 2, the Phoenix will play three straight matches at Rudd against College of Charleston (Sept. 6), USC Upstate (Sept. 13) and Davidson (Sept. 16).

A two-game swing in Virginia will follow for Elon, with a CAA match at William & Mary on Sept. 20 before a non-conference clash at Longwood on Sept. 23. The Phoenix closes out the month with home contests versus Campbell (Sept. 26) and UNCG (Sept. 30).

The Phoenix begins October with a pair of road games against ACC competition. Elon will face Clemson on Oct. 4 before heading to Durham for a battle at Duke on Oct. 7. A rematch against UNCW at Rudd will follow on Oct. 11.

Elon wraps up its road slate with games at Charleston (Oct. 18) and Campbell (Oct. 25) before closing out the regular season at Rudd against William & Mary on Nov. 1.

This will be the first season the CAA will feature two divisions for men's soccer. Elon will compete in the South Division alongside Campbell, Charleston, UNCW and William & Mary and will play each of these teams twice in the regular season.

The top three teams in the North and South division at the conclusion of the regular season will qualify for the CAA Championship, which will be played over two weekends. The No. 2 seed in each division will host the No. 3 seed on the first weekend, with the winners moving on to face the No. 1 seed in each division. The highest remaining seed will then host the championship match on the second weekend. If both teams have the same divisional seed, the team with the most points in the regular season will host.

Elon is coming off its second regular season CAA title in the last three seasons after posting a 10-7-1 mark in the regular season and 6-2 mark in conference play. The Phoenix earned the No. 1 seed in the CAA Tournament and hosted a semifinal at Rudd.

All of Elon's regular season home games at Rudd Field will be streamed live on FloSports. To view Elon's full 2025 schedule, click here.
