ELON – The Elon men's golf team's spring-opening event at the Battle of Briar's Creek on Feb. 2-3 on Johns Island, South Carolina, has been canceled due to the expectation for low temperatures. Tournament host College of Charleston announced the cancellation Wednesday night.
 
The Phoenix's next scheduled event is the Dorado Beach Collegiate, hosted by UNCG at TPC Dorado Beach in Dorado, Puerto Rico, on Feb. 22-24.
