NORMAN, Okla. – The Elon men's golf team received the 2025-26 PLATFORM Golf Team Academic Award, the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA) announced Wednesday.
 
Elon qualified for the award by maintaining a cumulative grade-point average of 3.0 or better during the 2025-26 academic year. The announcement came two days after Jack Wieler was named a Cobalt Golf All-America Scholar by the GCAA for the second straight year.
 
The Phoenix has earned the GCAA's Team Academic Award in 12 of the past 13 years under Elon Director of Golf Don Hill's watch.
