Coach’s Take:  Has developed into an all-conference type player ... Has worked hard in the weight room which continues to pay off with his increase in power numbers ... Named to the New England Collegiate Baseball League’s all-star team this summer ... Followed that up with a great fall ... Will see action at second, short and third for the Phoenix this spring.

2008: Finished second on the team and eighth in the SoCon with a .377 batting average and 51 RBI ... Led the team with 17 doubles ... Belted nine home runs and scored 45 runs ... Earned SoCon All-Tournament accolades after hitting .650 with 12 RBI, five runs scored, four doubles and a homer in four games ... Finished the year with 14 multi-RBI games and 19 multi-hit outings ... Ended the season riding a 15-game hitting streak ... Went 4-for-5 with two doubles, one run scored and four RBI to lift Elon past UNC Greensboro to reach the SoCon Tournament finals ... Posted a 4-for-5 game with a homer, two runs scored and two RBI in a win over Georgia Southern in the SoCon Tournament ... Scored four runs after going 2-for-3 with a homer in a 19-10 decision over Wake Forest.

Hit his first career homer in a win over Xavier, going 2-for-4 with two runs scored and two driven in ... Rapped a career-best four hits in five at bats against league foe Furman ... Drove in two runs and scored three more in a 3-for-4 day in Elon’s SoCon Tournament victory over Georgia Southern ... Earned SoCon Player of the Week honors on April 16 after batting .692 (9-for-13) with three doubles and a triple while driving in six runs and scoring three during Elon’s three-game series with Furman.
