2008: Chosen as a Second Team All-Southern Conference honoree by both the league’s coaches and media… Honored with the team’s Top Defensive Back Award… Started seven of the nine contests in which he appeared… Notched 47 total tackles and broke up four passes… Had nine tackles against eventual National Champion Richmond… Recorded 14 total stops, including eight solo tackles, in a SoCon victory over Samford… 2007: Started twice and saw time in all 11 games… Finished third on the team with 76 total tackles… Led the Phoenix with 47 solo stops… Recorded three tackles for a loss, including one sack… Intercepted one pass and broke up three others… Recovered one fumble… Tallied a career-best 18 tackles against eventual National Champion Appalachian State… Had 11 tackles in a victory over then-No. 21 Georgia Southern… Grabbed his first career interception in a win over eventual Big South Conference champion Liberty… 2006: Played in nine games as a true freshman… Made nine stops. 

Prep: Amassed 128 tackles, five interceptions, six fumble recoveries and 18 pass deflections in 2005… Earned All-Queen City Conference, All-Mecklenburg County and North Carolina Preps 4-A All-State recognition as a senior… Participated in the North Carolina East-West All-Star Game.
