Prep: Tabbed the athlete of the year in North Carolina by The Associated Press after breaking nearly every passing record in Rocky Mount High School history… Led coach B.W. Holt’s Rocky Mount squad to a 12-1 record and a conference title as a senior… Two-time all-conference honoree… Rocky Mount’s offensive player of the year… Amassed 1,687 aerial yards and 22 touchdown passes as a senior.
