2020: Made seven relief appearances and went 0-0 with a 0.00 ERA. He allowed one hit and issued four walks while recording six strikeouts in 3.2 innings...Struck out two batters and walked one in 1.0 innings against Delaware State...Had two strikeouts with a walk in 1.0 inning of work vs. UMass Lowell...Fanned the only batter he faced in 0.1 innings vs. No. 17 ECU...Gave up one hit and struck out two batters in a 0.2 inning outing against Indiana State.

2019: Was 0-0 with a 3.38 ERA in three relief appearances...Struck out two batters in 2.2 innings pitched...Threw 1.1 innings of relief in the season-opener against Lafayette. He did not allow a batter to reach base in the win over the Leopards.  

2018: Earned the start in seven of his 17 appearances … Went 4-3 with a 5.75 ERA … Struck out 40 hitters in 40.2 innings … Allowed three runs and struck out a career-high eight hitters in 6.0 innings against Penn State … Earned the first win of his career after allowing two runs and striking out five in 6.1 innings against Appalachian State … Picked up the win after striking out five over 3.2 scoreless innings out of the bullpen against Hofstra … Fanned two in 2.0 scoreless innings in a CAA win over Towson.

2017: Made 12 appearances, including three starts … Went 0-3 with a 9.59 ERA … Struck out 24 hitters in 25.1 innings … Threw 1.1 innings out of the bullpen in his collegiate debut at #12 Clemson … Struck out three in 3.1 scoreless innings against Georgia Southern … Made his first career start at #17 Wake Forest, striking out four in 2.1 inning … Struck out four in 3.2 innings in a start at #3 North Carolina.

2016: Red-shirted.

Prep: Went 6-2 with a 1.54 ERA and 72 strike outs his senior season … Earned first-team all-league and all-county honors in 2015 … Was a second-team all-state selection as a senior … Named an honorable mention Perfect Game All-American … Was a first-team all-section, all-league and all-county performer as well as a third-team all-state honoree in 2013 … Helped coach Dan Freeman’s team to a 2015 league title and a section championship … Squad also advanced to the regional finals.

Personal: Owen Walter Lorenz is the son of former Hartwick College basketball player Jimm and Marie Lorenz … Born April 12, 1997...Double-major in Marketing and Project Management with a minor in Supply Chain Management.
