HUNTERSVILLE, NC - Elon College takes a seven stroke into the second round at the Davidson Invitational held at the Par 72, 7,013 yard Birkdale Golf Course in Huntersville, NC Monday, November 1.

The Fightin' Christians posted a score of 296, while Wofford tallied a score of 303 for second place. William Ted Brown of Virginia Commonwealth leads the individual field by stroking a two-under par (70). Todd Grassi and Brian Psota pace Elon and are tied for fourth place, each recording an even par 72.

Matt Donavn and Terry Slater are tied for 14th each registering a four over par 76, and John Marshall rounds out the top twenty by swinging to a five over par 77.

The final round will take place tomorrow, Tuesday, November 2.
