DRAPER, VA -- Led by Keith Orlen's 7th place individual finish, the Phoenix finished 2nd in the 14-team field Tuesday at the Chris Cothran/Radford Intercollegiate Tounament.

Elon's finish placed them behind first place Winthrop. The Big South foe shot a 572 for the tournament, nine strokes ahead of the Phoenix. Elon finished ahead of conference opponent Radford (8th, 605) and non-conference opponents Western Carolina (3rd, 584) and Appalachain State (4th, 588).

Matt Donovan and Mark Hunsicker shot a 145 for the tournament and an 11th place finish. Ryan Loucks shot a second round 74 which placed him in a 17th place tie.

The next match for the Phoenix will be October 30-31 in Davidson, NC.
