A 2004 Elon graduate, Kroustalis earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in communication and a Bachelor of Science degree in sports management. While an undergraduate student at Elon, Kroustalis served as an intern in Elon’s sports marketing office. He helped to design and coordinate football program advertisements for 30 corporate clients while implementing marketing opportunities with several area businesses and developing a marketing plan for six fall and winter sports.
Prior to Elon, Kroustalis spent his first semester of college as a basketball manager at Seton Hall. He assisted the coaching staff in daily practices and individual workouts, facilitated lockerroom setup, statistics, videotaping, and cleanup on game days and was responsible for recruiting mailers that targeted high-level prep players.
Kroustalis spent multiple summers serving as a basketball camp counselor at Seton Hall, Duke, Elon and Wake Forest.
Kroustalis is currently employed by Gallins Food, Inc. where he serves as the Coffee Service Manager in Wintston-Salem, N.C. He oversees all aspects of the office of the coffee service division. Kroustalis also works for The Topps Company as an autograph session representative. He is assigned on an as-needed basis to coordinate autograph sessions with former and current professional athletes under contract with Topps within the Carolinas.
Kroustalis will begin pursuing his masters of business administration from Elon in March 2007.
