ELON, N.C. – The Elon men’s basketball team will make the short trip to Durham on Monday night to take on the defending national champion and top-ranked Duke Blue Devils at Cameron Indoor Stadium. The game is being televised by Fox Sports South with the tip time scheduled for 7:08 p.m.

• During its Division I history, Elon has never faced the number one team in the country or the defending national champions.
• Scoring nine points against Chattanooga on Friday, senior Chris Long surpassed 900 career points. He now has 907 points while at Elon.
• Chris Long recently moved into fifth place on the school’s career three-point list with 132.
• Chris Long is third on Elon’s all-time career assists list with 380 helpers. He leads the team with 4.0 apg.
• Elon’s four scholarship freshmen are all averaging double-figure minutes.
• Elon is second in the league in assists (15.7) and assist-to-turnover ratio (1.2).

LAST TIME OUT
• Elon was held well below its scoring average (77.2 ppg) in a 71-65 loss to Southern Conference foe Chattanooga on Friday night.
• Chattanooga outrebounded Elon 48-31 and had three players in double figures.
• After seeing six players in double figures just one game ago, rookie Jack Isenbarger was the only Phoenix in double figures against UTC.
• With 22 points, Isenbarger has scored 20+ four times in 10 games this year.

PHOENIX VS. BLUE DEVILS
• The game is being televised by Fox Sports South with Mike Hogewood (play-by-play) and Mike Gminski (color) calling the action. Tip time is scheduled for 7:08 p.m.
• Elon and Duke have never met during the Phoenix’s Division I era and have met only three times since Trinity became Duke.
• Duke head coach Mike Krzyzewski will be looking for his 879th career victory which will tie Dean Smith as the winningest coach in ACC history.
• The Blue Devils have lost only two home games in the past four seasons (53-2) and have won 47 straight home games against unranked opponents.
