ELON, N.C. – The Elon men’s basketball team will look to make it three straight when it hosts its final non-conference game of the season against the North Carolina State Wolfpack on Wednesday, January 5 in the historic Greensboro Coliseum. Tip time is set for 7 p.m. The Phoenix is facing its fourth Atlantic Coast Conference opponent of the year, having already challenged Wake Forest, Maryland and top-ranked Duke. FREE THROWS
• The Phoenix is 34-124 against current members of the Atlantic Coast Conference.
• This is Elon’s fourth contest against an ACC opponent this season.

• Rookie Jack Isenbarger has scored 20+ on five occasions this season. He ranks eighth in the Southern Conference with 14.4 ppg. He is the top scoring freshman in the league.
• Drew Spradlin is tied for ninth place all-time at Elon with 109 career triples.
• Chris Long is third on Elon’s all-time career assists list with 402 helpers. He leads the team and is second in the SoCon with 4.8 apg.
• Elon’s four scholarship freshmen are all averaging double-figure minutes.
LAST TIME OUT
• Elon got its first-ever win over an Ivy League opponent after Chris Long drained a fade-away jumper at the buzzer to lift Elon over Columbia.
• Trailing by 12 with just over six minutes to play, Long put on a show as he scored 11 of Elon’s final 13 points in the victory. Long had 22 points and nine assists.
• Rookie Ryley Beaumont had a personal-best eight rebounds in the contest.
• Elon shot 63.6 percent in the second half while holding Columbia to 34.5 percent.
• Elon ended the Lions four-game winning streak and handed them their first home loss of the season.
A LOOK AT THE PACK
• NC State is on a three-game winning streak, coming off a 76-54 win against San Diego.
• The Wolfpack has attempted only 185 three-pointers this year compared to the 330 that Elon has shot. The Pack has made 61; Elon has drained double that with 126.
