Full Schedule

ELON, N.C. – Elon's second-year head men's golf coach Don Hill announced the fall schedule for his Phoenix squad on Wednesday, Aug. 27. The maroon and gold will play in four fall events beginning in mid-September.

Hill's 2014-15 roster features just one senior in Will DiIanni, but returns five juniors, two sophomores and a red-shirt freshman. Just one freshman was added to this year's roster.

"I am pleased with how our schedule has come together," said Hill. "A major part of our growth as a program is who and how we schedule. This year we will compete in tournaments hosted by the likes of the University of South Carolina, UNC Chapel Hill, Auburn, Kentucky and Maryland. We also make trips to Haig Point on Daufuskie Island and the Greenbrier. Our goal is to compete against the best teams in the country, and we will certainly have that opportunity. We feel that this schedule will prepare us to make a run in the CAA Championship and hopefully beyond."

That group will begin their season at the Tar Heel Intercollegiate hosted by North Carolina at Finley Golf Course. That event will begin on Friday, Sept. 12 and run through Sunday, Sept. 14.

The following Sunday, Sept. 21, the Phoenix heads to Daufuskie Island, S.C., for the Rees Jones Invitational. This tournament is co-hosted by Kennesaw State and CAA rival UNC Wilmington. Elon will wrap up play in the Palmetto State on Tuesday, Sept. 23.

Elon will participate in two more tournaments in October. The first is the Maryland Terrapin Invitational, which will be held at the Woodmont Country Club in Rockville, Md. on Oct. 13-14.

The Phoenix will head back to South Carolina for its final event of the fall, as Elon will play in the Camden Collegiate Invitational on Oct. 18-19 in Camden, S.C. This tournament is hosted by South Carolina at the Camden Country Club.
