STOCKBRIDGE, Ga. – The Elon University women's golf team concluded play at the John Kirk Panther Intercollegiate hosted by Georgia State University today, March 31, posting a third-round total of 308 to finish ninth out of 15 teams. The top-10 finish is the Elon's fourth this spring.
 
Kelsey Badmaev carded the lowest round for the Phoenix with a 74 (+2) that moved her up 20 spots into a tie for 51^st with a three-day total of 237 (+21).
 
Leading the way for Elon was Emily Brooks, who finished in a tie for 22^nd with a 54-hole mark of 232 (+16) after a final-round 77 (+5).
 
Heather Munro remained in a tie for 29^th after closing with a 78 (+6) that left her one shot behind Brooks at 233 (+17). Sunna Vidisdottir finished right behind Munro at 234 (+18), good for a tie for 35^th, while Hilda Kristjansdottir closed with an 81 (+9) to finish in a tie for 47^th at 236 (+20).
 
Kristi Ingram competed as an individual for the Phoenix and closed with an 87 (+15) to pair with rounds of 84 (+12) and 78 (+6) on the first two days.
 
Troy carded an even-par mark of 288 on the final day of play to win the team portion of the event with a three-day total of 892 (+28). The Trojans finished five shots clear of Middle Tennessee, which closed with a 297 (+9).
 
Taking home individual honors was Troy's Fatima Fern Cano, who carded a 67 (-5) to finish seven shots clear of the second place finisher.
