RICHMOND, Va. – After recording her second straight top-10 individual finish, Elon University women's golfer Heather Munro has been named the CAA Women's Golfer of the Week as announced by the league office on Wednesday, March 15.

Munro finished in a tie for ninth at the River Landing Classic, helping the Phoenix to a tie for sixth in the team standings. The Dundee, Scotland native shot a five-over par 221 (72-75-74) over her three rounds of play. Munro recorded seven birdies throughout the event.

For the year, Munro has competed in all six of Elon's tournaments and has a 74.22 scoring average. She now has nine top-10 finishes in 25 career tournaments.

Munro and the Phoenix will be back on the links March 25-27 at the Babs Steffens Invitational in DeLand, Fla.
