ELON, N.C. – Elon University women's basketball travels to Philadelphia for a 2 p.m. matchup against Drexel on Sunday, Feb. 23.

THE MATCHUP
-This will be the 13^th meeting between the two teams. Drexel leads the overall series 8-4.
-The Dragons won the last meeting between the two teams in overtime on Jan. 24, 55-53.

LAST TIME OUT
-The Phoenix came up short against Delaware on Feb. 21, 73-60. Jada Graves and Ariel Colón paced the Elon offense, tying for the team high in points (12), while Brie Perpignan and Saadia Munford followed with 10 apiece. Graves also tied her season best in field goals (5).
-On defense, Maya Johnson posted two of the three Phoenix blocks in addition to Graves and Liles matching the game high in steals (3). Johnson has now recorded at least two blocks in eight games this season.
-Elon is led by ninth year head coach Charlotte Smith, who led the Phoenix to two consecutive CAA Championship titles in 2017 and 2018.
 
LOOKING AHEAD
-Including Sunday's contest, Elon has 4 games remaining in its regular-season schedule.
-The CAA announced on June 25, 2018 that the 2020 CAA Women's Basketball Championship will be held at Elon University's Schar Center. Competition takes place from March 11-14. Those interested in purchasing tickets can do so here.    

SCOUTING DREXEL
-Drexel enters the contest leading the CAA with a 19-6 (12-1 CAA) record.
-The Dragons recorded its 12th-straight win when they defeated William & Mary in overtime on Feb. 21, 84-74.
-Keishana Washington matched the game high in points (25), with 10 of them coming in overtime. Bailey Greenberg also picked up her ninth 20-point game of the season.
