STARTING FIVE
1. Fulmore in Full Effect
Quinzia Fulmore has emerged as a key presence for the Phoenix heading into the CAA Championship. The graduate has scored in double figures in five of the last six games and is tied for the team lead in rebounds per game. She is also the team's most effective shooter, leading the Phoenix shooting 52.8% from the field. Fulmore is coming off a standout performance against UNCW, where she recorded her first double-double of the season, finishing with a career-high 28 points on 13-of-15 shooting while adding 10 rebounds.

2. Corbett in Control
LaNae' Corbett has been one of the most consistent offensive threats for the Phoenix in her first season with the program. The sophomore forward has reached double figures 19 times this season and ranks 14th in the CAA with 11.7 points per game. A transfer from Hofstra, Corbett is shooting 48.3% from the field, which ranks second in the league, and is tied for 15th in the conference with 1.4 steals per game. She has shot 50% or better in 15 contests this season and set Elon's single-season game record for field-goal percentage after shooting 87.5% (14-for-16) from the floor vs. Hampton, breaking the previous mark held by Wanda Wilson (1970) and Lakia Hayes (1985).

3. Rookie Spark
Freshmen Ashanti Fox and Tamia Watkins have become key contributors for the Phoenix this season. Fox has earned three CAA Rookie of the Week honors (Jan. 19, Jan. 26, Feb. 23), ranks second on the team in assists at 2.1 per game, and leads all bench scorers, averaging 8.7 points per game. Watkins has also collected three Rookie of the Week honors (Nov. 30, Feb. 2, Feb. 9) and shares the team lead in rebounding at 5.0 per game while shooting 46.9% (91-for-194) from the field. She has recorded three double-doubles this season, most recently with 16 points and 10 rebounds against William & Mary.

4. Elon Among NCAA Leaders
Elon has been one of the most statistically impactful teams in the conference, driven by its depth and defensive pressure. The Phoenix average 28.3 points per game off the bench, ranking first in the CAA and 10th nationally, with Fox leading the reserves at 8.7 points per game. Elon's defensive intensity has translated into takeaways, as the Phoenix force 19.50 turnovers per game, which ranks second in the CAA and 49th nationally. Elon has been equally effective in steals, ranking second in the CAA and 77th nationally with 9.7 steals per game. The Phoenix ranks second in the league and 24th in the NCAA in offensive rebounding, averaging 15.0 offensive rebounds per game. Maraja Pass also ranks in the top-50 in the nation with a 1.94 assist-to-turnover ratio, ranking fourth in the league.

5. Back in the Bracket
Elon is looking to secure its first victory at the CAA Championship since 2020, when the Phoenix defeated Hofstra in the second round before the remainder of the tournament was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Elon has dropped its last five tournament games and holds an 8-9 record overall at the CAA Championship. There is reason for optimism, however, as the Phoenix went 2-0 against second-round opponent Hampton during the regular season.

UP NEXT
