The field is playing on the par-72, 6,787-yard Cotton Dike course at the Dataw Island Club.

The Phoenix remains in fifth place with a 36-hole total of 587 (+11). Charleston leads the team standings as the Cougars sit at 19-under par with a 557. Next is Drexel with a two-under 574, and William & Mary owns a 580 (+4) to round out the top three team scores. Elon sits just five strokes behind James Madison, who is fourth at 582 (+6). Delaware is sixth with a 597 (+21), Towson seventh at 603 (+27), and Hofstra is eighth at 669 (+93). UNCW is not competing due to COVID-19 protocols within their program.

"Today was a better round for Elon Golf," said head coach Don Hill. "Still not where we want to be on the leader board, but we executed at a higher level. Our goals are to climb higher and move up a few spots. A good final round will provide that opportunity."
