ELON, N.C. – Elon University men's tennis returns to action on Wednesday, April 13, when it hosts Radford for Senior Day at 3 p.m. at the Jimmy Powell Tennis Center.

The Phoenix will then take on UNC Greensboro the following day, April 14, in a 6 p.m. matchup in Greensboro, N.C.

- Radford holds a 12-6 overall record after falling to Campbell, 4-3, in its most recent outing.
- The Highlanders are led by Rob Bareford who is in his fourth season at the helm of the program. Bareford led the program to the Big South Championship title and an appearance to the NCAA Championship in 2018-19.
- Demis Taramonlis is leading the way for Radford on the court, as he holds a record of 12-5 overall and in the No. 1 slot. Radford has also gotten major contributions from Aditya Balsekar who leads the team with 15 singles wins, including racking up a 13-1 mark in the No. 5 position.
- In doubles play, the combination of Taramonlis and Andres Silva holds the top mark, as the duo sits at 10-4 overall and in the No. 1 position, with wins in 10 consecutive outings.

- UNCG holds a 6-13 overall record after falling to Furman, 5-2, in its most recent outing.
- The Spartans are led by Jeff Trivette who is in his 22
nd season at the helm of the program. Trivette has led UNCG to the semifinals of the SoCon tournament seven times in his tenure.
- Nico Grewe is leading the way for UNCG on the court, as he holds an 11-8 record overall with wins in his last two outings.
- In doubles play, the combination of Grewe and Roger Rogowski is leading the charge, as the duo sits at 4-1 overall and in the No. 1 position.

Nicholas Condos led the way for the Phoenix in doubles play, taking down Bobichon and Joaquim Almeida 6-3 in the No. 3 slot.

Nicholas Campbell dropped a close three-set battle against Maxence Bertimon in No. 2 singles. Campbell started off strong, winning the first set 6-2 before falling 6-1 in the second set. In the decisive third set, Bertimon outlasted Campbell 7-6 to secure the win.

Camilo Ponce stormed out of the gates, winning the opening set 6-3 to start the day. From there, Matisse Bobichon battled to a 7-6 decision in the second set to force a tiebreaking third set. In the tiebreaker, Ponce fell in a close 10-8 tally to give Bobichon the win in the No. 4 slot.

Kyle Frankel battled in No. 1 singles, taking the first set 6-4 before falling by a close 7-5 margin in the second set against Charles Bertimon. Frankel nearly won the tiebreaker but Bertimon fought back to earn a 12-10 final in the decisive third set.

- Dougherty comes to Elon from North Carolina Cyber Academy where he garnered a top-200 national ranking (18s) and was considered a 4-Star Player on Tennis Recruiting.
- Martin joins Elon from the University of Minnesota where he posted an 8-8 mark in singles play last season.
