With six tight ends heading into the fall of 2022, Elon will look to develop the next impact players at the position and replace two-year starter
Donovan Williams.
Â
"I am looking forward to coaching this group," new Tight Ends Coach
Will Orbin said. "There are high expectations for our offense and also for the guys sitting in the tight end room. We need to show consistent improvement from practice to practice. If we can do that, we will have set a good foundation to build on moving into the summer and fall."
Â
Sophomore
Arthur Nwandu is the most experienced returner, having played in 15 games over the last two seasons, starting two contests. Redshirt freshman
Johncarlos Miller II saw action in the final four games during the fall and picked up his first career reception, a four-yard catch in the win over No. 25 Rhode Island to close out the season.
Â
Redshirt freshman
Zach Reda spent the fall adjusting to college football and redshirt freshman
Chris Murphy joins the program this spring.
Â
In the fall, Elon will add a pair of freshmen in
Mason Capers and
Cody Hardy.
