ELON – The Elon women's basketball team (11-13, 6-6 CAA) returns home this weekend to host Campbell and Northeastern at Schar Center. Tipoff against the Camels is scheduled for 7 p.m. on Friday, while the matchup with the Huskies is set for 1 p.m. on Sunday.
Both games will be televised on WRAL-TV in addition to streaming on FloCollege, marking the second and third times Phoenix women's basketball airs on local broadcast television. Fans can watch via Spectrum (Channel 1255), DIRECTV (Channel 80), DISH Network (Channel 253) or antenna (Channel 5.2).

vs. Campbell
- Series record: Campbell leads, 23-13
- The Phoenix have dropped the last four games against the Camels, most recently falling 62-52 earlier this season on Jan. 9, 2026.
- Campbell (17-9, 10-3 CAA) went 2-0 last weekend, defeating Hofstra, 58-47, and UNCW, 54-52.
- The Camels were picked to finish fourth in the 2025-26 CAA Preseason Poll, with Gianni Boone earning All-CAA Preseason First Team honors.
- Campbell is led in scoring by six-time CAA Rookie of the Week Jasmine Nivar, who is averaging 11.9 points per game. Nivar also leads the team and ranks tied for fifth in the conference with 1.9 steals per game.
- Jasmine Felton (10.1 PPG) is also averaging double figures, while Ciara Alexander ranks tied for ninth in the CAA with a team-high 6.4 rebounds per game.
- As a team, Campbell ranks first in the conference in defense, allowing 55.6 points per game, and in blocked shots, averaging 4.96 blocks per game.

- The Phoenix is 2-3 in their last five meetings with Northeastern, most recently falling 49-43 on the road last season on March 6, 2025.
- Northeastern (7-16, 3-10 CAA) went 1-1 last weekend, falling to College of Charleston, 69-47, before defeating Stony Brook 73-60.
- The Huskies were picked to finish 13th in the 2025-26 CAA Preseason Poll, with Yirsy Quéliz earning a spot on the All-CAA Preseason Honorable Mention Team.
- Camryn Collins leads Northeastern, averaging 11.7 PPG, while Quéliz also averages double-figures at 10.3.
- Justice Tramble leads the team with 5.8 rebounds per game.

1. Road Setback In Philly
The Elon women's basketball team put together a late fourth-quarter surge but ultimately fell 68-59 at Drexel on Friday night.
Tamia Watkins reached double figures for the third straight game, leading the team with 16 points and sharing the team lead with four rebounds.
Tyana Walker went 3-for-5 from three-point range, added four rebounds, and led the team with three steals.
Maraja Pass and Watkins each led the team with four assists apiece, while
Kamryn Doty and Watkins each recorded a block. The Phoenix led the offensive glass for the 16
th time this season, outrebounding Drexel 9-8 defensively.
2. Watkins Stays Hot
Tamia Watkins is continuing a hot run in conference play, reaching double figures in four of her last six games. She earned CAA Rookie of the Week honors for the third time this season on Monday, Feb. 9, after averaging 14.0 points, 8.0 rebounds, 1.5 assists, and 1.0 steal per contest. She leads the team with three double-doubles this season, highlighted by a 16-point, 10-rebound performance in Elon's win over William & Mary. In the Phoenix's latest outing at Drexel, she led the team with 16 points, going 7-for-11 from the field, and added a season-high four assists.
3. Ranked and Rising
Elon has been one of the most statistically impactful teams in the conference, driven by its depth and defensive pressure. The Phoenix average 28.2 points per game off the bench, ranking first in the CAA and ninth nationally, with
Ashanti Fox leading the reserves at 8.5 points per game. Elon's defensive intensity has translated into takeaways, as the Phoenix force 20.21 turnovers per game, which ranks first in the CAA and 44th nationally. Elon has been equally effective in steals, ranking second in the CAA and 69th nationally with 9.9 steals per game. The Phoenix is a team that excels on the offensive glass, ranking second in the league and 22
nd in the NCAA, averaging 15.3 offensive rebounds per game.
4. Pass = TWO-WAY IMPACT
Maraja Pass has been a steady two-way presence for the Phoenix this season, leading the team in assists. Her 2.08 assist-to-turnover ratio ranks tied for second in the CAA and 33
rd in the nation. Pass is tied for fifth in the conference in assists per game (3.4), including a season-high seven assists and zero turnovers vs. Towson. She shares the team lead, averaging 1.4 steals per game, and has started 55 consecutive games for the Phoenix.
5. Anderson Ascending
Senior guard
Laila Anderson has been one of Elon's most consistent offensive contributors, scoring in double figures in eight of the last nine games. Over the eight-game span, she has averaged 16.7 points per game while shooting 47.8 percent from the field. Anderson opened the run with 13 points at UNCW, followed by a 21-point effort at College of Charleston on Jan. 18, where she knocked down four three-pointers. She added 15 points against North Carolina A&T and posted a season-high 22 points at Hampton on 8-of-13 shooting, along with a season-best five steals. Anderson continued her strong play with 19 points against Charleston, 16 in the win over Towson, and capped the stretch with 14 points at North Carolina A&T and 13 against William & Mary.
UP NEXT
The Phoenix begins a three-game road swing next weekend, traveling to Hofstra and Stony Brook. Tipoff against the Pride is set for Friday at 6 p.m., while the matchup against the Seawolves is scheduled for Sunday at 1 p.m.
