Biography

Personal: Full name is Trevor Larkin Kirk...Born on Oct. 4, 2000....Son of Landon and Anna Kirk.

2021: Was 4-1 with a 3.28 ERA in 19 appearances and one start, allowing 25 runs (13 earned) on 29 hits 18 walks through 35.2 innings. He finished third on the team with 51 strikeouts and held opposing batters to a .204 average...Picked up his first win of the season and improved to 1-1 on March 14 vs. N.C. A&T. He gave up one hits without issuing a walk and added a pair of strikeouts in 1.0 inning of relief...Secured the win in Game Two of a doubleheader against W&M on April 10. He held the visitors to one hit and one walk through 2.1 innings out of the pen. Kirk didn't allow any runs and had two strikeouts...Set season highs with nine strikeouts over 5.1 relief innings thrown at W&M on April 18. He allowed two runs (one earned) on two hits and one walk...Improved to 3-1 with a win over UNCW on April 23. Kirk struck out two batters, walked one and didn't give up a hit in 0.2 innings tossed as Elon got the 2-1 win over the Seahawks in extras...Finished with eight strikeouts vs. UNCW on April 25. He was tagged for three runs (one earned) on two hits and as many walks through 4.0 innings of relief...Made his only start of the season against CofC on May 1. He surrendered seven run (five earned) on five hits and two walks in a no decision. He collected two punch outs in 4.2 innings...Got the win over No. 5 seed W&M on May 26 at the CAA Championship Tournament. Coming out of the pen in the top of the third with Elon trailing 3-0, Kirk struck out five while holding the Tribe scoreless through 4.1 innings of work. He allowed one hit and didn't walk anyone.

2020: Owned a 1-0 record with a 4.63 ERA in six appearances out of the pen. He allowed six runs on eight hits and three walks with 13 strikeouts through 11.2 innings. Opposing batters hit .195 against him...Made his collegiate debut and earned the win in Game Two vs. Delaware State. He allowed one run on one hit and a walk with one strikeout in 1.1 innings pitched... Struck out a season-high six batters in 3.1 scoreless innings of work in the series finale vs. Indiana State. He gave up one hit to the Sycamores.
